Direct bookings

Your hotel already has a website. Start there.

A practical starting point for independent hotels: a clear booking button, a trustworthy guest journey and a plan for room availability.

Make the next step obvious

Your website tells guests what staying with you feels like. The booking journey should continue that experience, not ask them to figure out a new system. Put a clearly labelled booking button where it is easy to find on a phone as well as a laptop.

Send guests to a page that identifies your hotel and lets them choose dates, compare rooms and review the full stay before entering their details. Show room descriptions and real photographs. Explain what is included and make cancellation conditions easy to find.

Availability is more important than another feature

If you also sell through Booking.com or another channel, decide which system controls availability before accepting direct reservations. A booking button by itself cannot prevent two channels selling the same room.

Automatic Booking.com and Expedia inventory sync is not live in anotherPillow. A hotel needs an agreed, safe inventory arrangement and launch checks before taking real reservations. If that arrangement depends on a connection that is not ready, wait.

Test the handover to reception

Make a test reservation. Check that its dates, room, guest details and confirmation number match in the hotel workspace. Then test a change and a cancellation. A beautiful checkout is only useful when the team can confidently manage what comes next.

anotherPillow can prepare a booking page for an existing hotel website. The hotel reviews its rooms, rates, policies and payment setup before activation. You can explore the Aster House example without making a payment or reserving a real room.
